Our Purpose
Project Aaina is an organization that started with the objective of self-reflection. We conduct mindfulness retreats that will facilitate a connection with one’s inner self through consciously curated activities. Project Aaina is a huge advocate for different forms of art being a tool for introspection and healing. Keeping that in mind, we facilitate a safe space for our participants to engage in activities that enrich their minds, body, and soul. Our Artcation retreats also give our participants an opportunity to explore different aspects of themselves, experience the wonders of nature and connect with diverse groups of people, and in the process, we make sure everyone has a lively time doing so.
What will you gain from attending these retreats?
Life can get pretty monotonous, the everyday hustle can leave our body and mind yearning for some rest and rejuvenation. That is precisely where we come into the picture, a retreat designed to help you tap into the unconscious stream of creativity that flows through us all, creating a safe space for you to explore your ever-evolving self and unwind away from city limitations.
We at Project Aaina believe art is a form of expression you don’t have to master but unleash without the perception of perfection. Our carefully curated activities revolve around different forms of art that help you release patterns that no longer serve you and move into a space of expression. The breathtaking surroundings of our retreats aid in the process of letting go of everyday worries and truly giving yourself the space to connect with your inner self. You get to engage with exciting new people, create meaningful friendships and explore your creativity in a safe space. By the end of the retreat, you’re better equipped to pursue a life of balance.
Community Welfare
When PROJECT AAINA began, it was a dream of the founder, Rajvi Vats, to one day be able to incorporate a humanitarian side to the company – either by including a small token of gratitude towards the communities, providing services, or just sharing in the profits of the retreats so we, along with our guests, could help in even a small way to groups in need. This led to the introduction of the COMMUNITY WELFARE INITIATIVE which we are continually growing as we expand retreat locations.
Project Aaina sees community welfare as a philosophy and strongly believes in giving back to the community. We often travel to remote locations for our retreats and experience the authentic culture of these small communities, in doing so we learn so much from their stories and lifestyle.
Team Aaina tries its best to introduce young minds of marginalised societies to the powerful and reliable tools of art in hopes of giving them a creative space to express and explore themselves. Rajvi Vats reflects on her own experiences faced as a child and wishes to provide children of these communities with this powerful tool of expression that she wished someone had given her at the time. We also engage the children in mentally stimulating and other interpersonal activities in order to focus on their development. Our community welfare activities revolve around giving back to the communities that host us with all their genuine hospitality and warmth. We are grateful to our guests for the support.
